Description for control system
1.0 Electric control system
Control system of QLB series asphalt mixing equipment is composed
of a separate central control room, peripheral connection cable and
wire, control room is divided into power distribution part and
1.1 Operation room
Operation room is of container structure, whose outer wall uses 2
layers of luxury aluminum alloy buckle, and inner wall uses high
class aluminum composite panel, between the outside and inner wall,
there is acoustic and thermal insulation material.
Power distribution part and control part of operation room can be
divided into 2 separate areas, instead of traditional power
cabinets in power distribution area, all electric components are
installed directly on inside wall of operation room for easier heat
dissipation and maintenance. There are wide-field glass windows at
3 sides of control area for watching running condition of equipment
on working site. There are cabinet-air-conditioner in power
distribution area and hanging-air-conditioner in control area
1.2 Power distribution part
Power distribution part in mainly composed of low voltage electric
parts (air breaker, AC contactor, relay, thermorelay), soft starter
and frequency converter, etc. , which mainly control all motors,
cylinders and air valves of mixing equipments.
Set air switch for main power, and all motors are equipped with air
protection switch and overload protection device, insulation class
of power is Grade 4, and there are marks at wire terminals.
Big power motor uses soft starter to start smoothly with low
current and high efficiency.
Set each branch circuit with trip feedback protection.
All cables of mixing equipment are connected to power distribution
1.3 control system
The system is composed of upward control computer unit (industrial
control computer) and downward programming controller (PLC),
weighing meter, weighing sensor, frequency converter and low
voltage components, and also equipped with keyboard, mouse, monitor
and printer, etc. Each unit uses Ethernet terminal port to
On basis of MCGS (Configuration Software), control system adopts
special control software developed specially for asphalt mixing
equipment, which can monitor overall running condition from time to
time and display on screen in dynamic mode, at the bottom of screen
there is formula control icon and prompt line.
The system can automatically finish state control of each work
link, namely all control functions required by equipments such as
auto batching, over impulse (difference of level) compensation,
failure alarm, report form storage and printing.
All function control is protected by computer program against error
caused by misoperation.
Control system has fully auto and manual operation function.
UPS power makes voltage of control system stable to prevent impulse
voltage caused by power change or self-generation damaging the
computer, which will create a safe operation condition for overall
control part. When out of electricity, buffer time of power is 15
